Robert C. Rollings, MD

In 1987, Dr. Rollings returned to his hometown of Savannah to practice with his father, Harry Rollings. He went to College at Emory University in Atlanta and to Medical School at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. His post-graduate training in Internal medicine was at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at Metropolitan General Hospital in Nashville. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington prior to returning to Savannah. Since moving home, he has continued education in cardiovascular imaging including Peripheral Vascular Imaging and Certification in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. This year he finished his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London.

Randy K. Bottner, MD

In 1992, Dr. Bottner joined Dr. Rollings (after receiving his cardiology training at Georgetown University Hospital and serving as Chief of Cardiology at Keesler Air Force Base for 4 years), providing expertise in the fields of interventional cardiology (the non-surgical management of clogged heart arteries) and nuclear cardiology (the use of radioisotopes for the diagnosis of heart-related disorders). As a result of their partnership, Savannah Cardiology was formed.

Dale P. Daly, MD

Dr. Daly joined Savannah Cardiology in 1997. A native of Savannah, he obtained his cardiology training at Emory University Hospital and subsequently served as Clinical Instructor in Medicine with the Department of Cardiology at the Atlanta VA Medical Center and Emory University. He later completed advanced fellowship training in cardiac and peripheral vascular intervention at Providence-St. Vincent Medical Center/University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland,Oregon and at the Oshsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He specializes in interventional cardiology, general cardiology, and medical and non-surgical management of circulatory disease outside of the heart.

John C. Sharp, Jr., MD

Dr. Sharp joined Savannah Cardiology in July 2000 after completing his Cardiology training from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. A native South Carolinian from Newberry, SC, and married to a native Georgian from Savannah, Dr. Sharp moved to Bluffton to provide cardiac care to the Low Country. Specializing in both general and interventional cardiology Dr. Sharp has staff privileges at both Hilton Head Hospital and Beaufort Memorial in South Carolina as well as Candler, St. Joseph's, and Memorial Hospital in Savannah.

Establishing the office in Hilton Head as well as seeing patients in the Bluffton-Okatie clinic, Dr. Sharp provides care for the Hilton Head, Bluffton, Sun City/Okatie, and Jasper County Communities.

Jay M. Kalan, MD

Dr. Kalan joined our group in August 2001. He spent 2 years as a research Fellow at the National Institutes of health, and then trained in Cardiology at Boston University and in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He practiced in Northern Virginia for 9 years, until moving to Hilton Head in 2000. He specializes in General and Interventional Cardiology, with interests in stress testing and rhythm management.
